Privacy Policy

Conquer.io, Inc. (“Conquer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. This policy applies to visitors of our website (www.conquer.io), individuals who interact with our marketing, and our customers’ use of our sales engagement platform, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy is designed to comply with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

1. Our Role in Data Processing: Controller vs. Processor

To understand our privacy practices, it’s important to know the two different roles we play.

  • Conquer as a Data Controller: We act as a Data Controller for the data we collect about our website visitors and marketing contacts. We determine the purposes and means of processing this data.
  • Conquer as a Data Processor: We act as a Data Processor when we handle data on behalf of our customers through our Services. The data our customers and their users upload or generate—like contact lists from Salesforce, call recordings, and meeting notes—is “Service Data“. Our customers are the Data Controllers of this Service Data; we only process it according to their instructions.

2. Data We Process on Behalf of Our Customers (Service Data)

As a Data Processor, we process Service Data strictly on behalf of our customers. Our customers, as the Data Controllers, are responsible for having a lawful basis for this processing.

The Service Data we process includes:

  • Customer and User Account Data: Information needed to manage customer accounts, such as employee names, email addresses, and Salesforce User IDs.
  • Third-Party Contact Data: Contact records of our customers’ clients and prospects that are synced from their CRM (like Salesforce) or captured during communications.
  • Recorded Data: Audio and video recordings of phone calls and meetings that our customers’ users choose to record using the Services.
  • AI-Generated Content: Transcriptions, summaries, sentiment analysis, and other insights generated by our algorithms from Recorded Data.

Use of Data for AI Training and Improvement: While our customers retain ownership of their Service Data, Conquer may use de-identified and aggregated Service Data to train, tune, and improve the artificial intelligence and machine learning models that power the Services.

This allows us to enhance features such as transcription accuracy, sentiment analysis, and call summarization. We do not use Personal Data to train our models in a manner that would allow for the re-identification of individuals, nor do we share your raw data with other customers through our models.

Customer Responsibility: Our customers are solely responsible for providing necessary notices and obtaining all legally required consents from the individuals they communicate with before recording them using our Services.

3. Data We Collect for Our Own Purposes (Website Data)

As a Data Controller, we collect data when you visit our website or interact with our marketing:

  • Information You Provide: We collect your name, email address, company, and job title when you fill out a form to request a demo or download content.
  • Information Collected Automatically: We use cookies and similar technologies to collect IP addresses, browser type, page view history, and other usage information. Please see our Cookie Policy for more details.

4. How and When We Share Data

We only share Service Data in accordance with our customer’s instructions. This typically involves:

  • With the Customer: The data is accessible to the customer and its authorized users.
  • With the Customer’s Salesforce Account: A core function of the Service is to synchronize activity data and AI-Generated Content back into the customer’s Salesforce instance.
  • With Our Sub-Processors: We use third-party service providers for essential functions like cloud hosting and AI processing. We maintain a list of our sub-processors and ensure they meet our data protection standards.

We may share Website Data with our service providers for marketing and analytics purposes. We will also share data when required by law or in the event of a business transfer like a merger or acquisition.

5. Your Data Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data.

  • Rights Regarding Service Data: Conquer has no direct relationship with the individuals whose data we process as part of our Service Data. If you are a person who was recorded or contacted by one of our customers, you must contact the relevant customer (the Data Controller) to exercise your rights. We will assist our customers in responding to these requests.
  • Rights Regarding Website Data: If you have provided your data directly to us (e.g., through our website) and wish to exercise your rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer. California consumers have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal data is collected and to request its deletion.

6. International Data Transfers

We may process and store data in the United States and other jurisdictions. When we transfer personal data from the EU, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on a valid legal transfer mechanism, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses, which are incorporated into our Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

7. Security and Retention

We implement and maintain robust technical and organizational safeguards to protect the data we process. We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as instructed by our customers for Service Data.
